South Korea and Australia were winners on the opening day of the 11th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup men's field hockey tournament in Kuala Lumpur.
South Korea shut out England, 2-0, with goals in the 14th and 47th minutes. Australia got two goals each from Matthew Smith and Troy Elder to lead the way to a 5-3 victory over Pakistan.
In another match, Malaysia held India to a 2-2 draw. Malaysia scored in the 11th and 57th minutes, while the Indians got their goals in the 34th and 63rd minutes.
