Dateline: The Evolving American Office

Skyscrapers like the Empire State Building in New York City and Sears Tower in Chicago have long symbolized big business in America. What goes on inside them and smaller buildings in towns and suburban office parks drives the nation's economy and mirrors its culture.

The American office is the focal point of an exhibit at the National Building Museum in Washington. VOA's Ted Landphair explored it and has this Dateline report on the evolving American office.
