Growing up the youngest of six children in Cleveland, Ohio,singer Vanessa Rubin had lots of musical influences.
Her father was from Louisiana, and loved jazz. Her mother was born in Trinidad and listened to Caribbean music.
Since 1992, Vanessa has recorded five albums, and performed on numerous world tours.
