Lewis Regains Heavyweight Championship - 2001-11-18

Lenox Lewis of England has regained the heavyweight boxing championship over Hasim Rahman of the United States with a fourth round knockout.

Lewis set up the knockout with a left hook to the head. Then he followed with a big right hand to the jaw.

That was the fight. Lewis won every round before the knockout and seemed to be in complete control of the action.

The crowd at the battle was equally divided in loyalties. Many visitors from Britain were present and noisy.

In the ring now one was hurt in the fight until the big right hand from Lewis. Then there was no hurt, just a short nap for Rahman.

Lewis's record is now 39 wins and two losses. Rahman's is 35 and three.
