The U.S. space shuttle Endeavour has undocked from the international space station, leaving a new U.S.-Russian crew at the outpost for the next five months.
Endeavour departed after a week in which station crews were exchanged and new supplies were offloaded.
The fourth crew of Russian commander Yury Onufrienko and U.S. astronauts Dan Bursch and Carl Walz will conduct experiments and maintain the station through May.
U.S. space agency engineers, meanwhile, will be monitoring the performance of two motors that position the station's huge solar panels. Earlier this week, two Endeavour astronauts conducted a spacewalk to wrap insulating blankets around the motors, which had been stalling on occasion. Technicians believe the cause was the extreme temperature variations of space.
The shuttle is to land in Florida on Monday.
