German skier Ronny Ackermann has won his fifth World Cup Nordic combined event of the season, but Austrian Felix Gottwald remains the overall standings leader.
Ackermann ended the 7.5 kilometer cross country race, in Liberec, Czech Republic, 9.5 seconds ahead of fellow German Georg Hettich.
Ackermann is 21 points behind Gottwald in the overall standings after 13 races.
Gottwald won the cross country part of the race, but placed 33rd in the ski jumping. He finished 21st overall. Hettich's silver medal was the best finish of his career. Japan's Daito Takahashi took third place in Friday's event.
