Military officials in Uganda say two soldiers have been publicly executed for the murder last week of an Irish priest and two other men.
A military court convicted the two soldiers of killing Father Declan O'Toole, his driver and an employee of his parish in the northeastern Ugandan district of Kotido, about 350 kilometers from the capital, Kampala, last Thursday.
Officials say the two soldiers were executed Monday by firing squad.
