In Nigeria, the Governor of the southeastern state of Anambra says he is not operating a private security sqaud.He says security is provided by a state group - and that it has not committed extra-judicial killings. Amnesty International has issued a report saying the security outfit known as the Bakassi boys is responsible for over 1,000 summary executions during the past two years.Ody Chukwube is the governor's Chief Press Secretary.He gave reporter Chinedu Offor the government's side of the story.
