Nigeria's Ekiti State want Governor Adebayo to do more - 2002-10-08

update

English to Africa reporter Paul Okolo is in the Ekiti State capital, Ado-Ekiti. Last week Paul told us about security problems facing other southwestern states, including Ondo and Ogun, in the run-up to the elections. But he says that’s not a problem in Ekiti. He told my colleague Josephine Kamara that the governor, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, is receiving mixed reviews – that many in the state like him, but others want him removed. His opponents say he has not done enough to provide better health and educational facilities for his people. But the governor and his supporters say those facilities have improved since he took office almost four years ago.
