Purported Al-Qaida Video Warns of Future Attacks - 2003-06-22

The Associated Press has obtained a video tape of a man purportedly working for the terrorist group Al-Qaida and warning of more attacks.

In the tape, a masked militant filmed in a mud hut says Osama Bin Laden's al-Qaida terrorist network carried out deadly bombings recently in Saudi Arabia and Morocco.

If authentic, the video would be the first al-Qaida claim of responsibility for the suicide attacks on foreign housing compounds in Riyadh, which killed 26 people and nine attackers, and bombings in Casablanca that killed 43 people and 12 attackers.

The White House has so far declined to comment on the video.
