South African President Thabo Mbeki will welcome his Kenyan counterpart, Mwai Kibaki, to Pretoria Tuesday for talks on bilateral relations and other issues.
South Africa's foreign ministry said Sunday the talks will focus on trade relations and on NEPAD, the pan-African program for economic development.
The ministry said the two leaders will also discuss terrorism and peace efforts underway in Somalia and Sudan.
The Kenyan and South African foreign ministers are scheduled to meet in Pretoria on Monday, one day before the two presidents.
