Jenny Badner Falcon is a correspondent in VOA’s New York bureau. She has contributed to VOA’s coverage of New York’s post September 11th recovery, the city’s immigrant communities, art and culture, Wall Street and the United Nations.
But Jenny began her VOA career in 2000 as a freelance reporter in Jerusalem. There, she filed stories on Pope John Paul II's historic visit, the outbreak of Israeli-Palestinian violence and the election of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.
Jenny is from New York and received her Masters in journalism from Columbia University. She is married. In her free time, she enjoys watching films, cycling, traveling, and spending time with her dog in New York’s Central Park.
