A fire in India's main space center has killed at least six people and injured several others.
Officials say the fire broke out in the fuel testing area of the Sriharikota space center in southern Andhra Pradesh state.
The officials say a test motor caught fire while being transported and spread to the building.
They say the fire is now under control.
The space center began operations in 1971. It is the main launch base of India's space program. It has a satellite launch pad and a center for testing and assembling rockets.
