Police in southwestern Pakistan say a bomb blast and a rocket explosion have shaken the city of Quetta, causing panic but no damage or injuries.
Officials say the rocket landed near a stadium where a sports tournament was being held, while the bomb exploded in the city's center. Quetta is the capital of Baluchistan province.
No one claimed responsibility for Sunday's attacks, but authorities suspect local insurgents were behind them.
Violence in Baluchistan has risen in recent months. It has often been blamed on local tribesmen seeking a bigger share of the revenue from the region's mineral and oil resources.
