The Kansas City Chiefs are trying for their first win of the season as they visit the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League's Monday night game. A loss would give the Chiefs their first 0-4 start since 1980. Kansas City had been considered a favorite to reach the Super Bowl at the start of the season. But the Chiefs have struggled badly on defense, and have already lost as many games as they did all last year.
Tonight's game will be a match-up of two of the league's best running backs. Priest Holmes is the Chiefs' all-time leading rusher (with 4,941 yards), while Baltimore's Jamal Lewis shook off a slow start last week by rushing for 186 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 23-9 win at Cincinnati. Baltimore has a 2-1 record.
The Ravens' defense also came up big against Cincinnati, forcing four turnovers and registering four quarterback sacks.
