NCAA: Wake Forest, Michigan State Upset in Big Ten Tournament

In U.S. college basketball, number three Wake Forest and number 10 Michigan State both suffered upset losses to unranked teams in their conference tournament quarterfinals.

Despite their losses Friday, Wake Forest and Michigan State are both all but assured high seed positions in the upcoming national championship tournament.

Other top-10 winners Friday were number four Kentucky, fifth ranked Duke, sixth ranked Louisville, number eight Arizona and number nine Kansas.

Kentucky cruised to a 76-62 win over Tennessee, Duke defeated Virginia 76-64, Louisville got by Alabama-Birmingham 74-67, Arizona rolled over Oregon State 90-59, and Kansas beat Kansas State 80-67.
