Golf: Fisher Leads Volvo China Open

update

First and second round leader Chawalit Plaphol of Thailand blew a three-stroke lead to land in a tie for second place behind Britain's Ross Fisher after three rounds of the Volvo China Open golf tournament in Shenzhen.

Fisher has a one-stroke lead after posting his second consecutive round of 68 Saturday for a 54-hole score of 11-under-par, 205.

Chawalit fell behind after a disastrous start of the third round, hitting a double bogey, and later going into a water hazard to end up with a 2-over-par, 74 - a far cry from his course record 65 in the opening round. He is tied at 10-under with Britain's Oliver Wilson.

China's Lian-Wei Zhang is two strokes off the lead after carding an impressive 66.

The tournament is co-sanctioned by the European and Asian Professional Golf Association tours.
