Pakistani officials say a search is underway for more victims of avalanches that have killed at least 11 soldiers and civilians in a remote outpost in the mountainous Kashmir region.
Officials said on Saturday at least nine people were missing, including members of a rescue party who were hit by another slide as they searched for victims of Friday's avalanche.
Avalanches and landslides are common Kashmir, which is divided between Pakistan and neighboring India.
In April, an avalanche at the remote Siachen Glacier base in Pakistan's part of Kashmir killed 140 soldiers and civilians.
