Egypt's top court has ruled that the country's Islamist-dominated upper house of parliament was illegally elected. However, the court says the body will not be dissolved until a new parliament is chosen.
The Supreme constitutional court also says that the panel that wrote Egypt's new constitution was not properly chosen.
The ruling came Sunday. No date has been set for the new elections, but Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi had previously said they could begin in October.
