LIVE BLOG: Obama, Kaine, Biden Make the Case for Hillary Clinton as President

update

The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

Stevie Wonder's song, "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours" is playing.

They've passed out "Thank you" signs in the arena.

Obama had ended his speech, which lasted more than 40 minutes, with: Thank you for this incredible journey. Let’s keep it going. God bless the United States of America.

Obama says he's "ready to pass the baton."

"This year, in this election, I’m asking you to join me – to reject cynicism, reject fear, to summon what’s best in us; to elect Hillary Clinton as the next president of the United States, and show the world we still believe in the promise of this great nation," he says.

He's doing a few victory strides across the stage.

And Hillary Clinton walks out onto the stage.

Some people are openly weeping to the president's speech.

"Time and again, you’ve picked me up. I hope, sometimes, I picked you up, too," Obama says, to cheers from the crowd.
