During a week when US Secretary of State Antony Blinken underscored the importance of religious freedom as a pillar of US foreign policy, host Carol Castiel speaks with Anurima Bhargava, Chair of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom, about the key findings of the organization’s 2021 annual report. Bhargava says that China and Burma are among the worst violators. Nigeria has been flagged as a “Country of Particular Concern” while Sudan has been hailed for making concrete progress.
