Dan žena se obeležava 8. marta svake godine. Tog dana se slave ekonomska, politička i društvena dostignuća žena širom sveta. Međunarodni dan žena počeo je masovnim protestima žena u Njujorku, 1911. koje su zahtevale bolje plate i uslove rada.
