Trump is laying out what he calls the four pillars of his immigration proposal:
1) A path to citizenship for for 1.8 million undocumented immigrants
2) Money to build a wall along the United States' southern border
3) An end to the visa lottery and a move toward "merit-based immigration"
4) An end to family-based migration - what Trump calls "chain migration"
There were audible boos when Trump described "chain migration."
Trump: “One of my greatest priorities is to reduce the price of prescription drugs. [applauds] In many other countries, these drugs cost far less than what we pay in the United States, and it’s very-very unfair. That is why I have directed my Administration to make fixing the injustice of high drug prices, one of our top priorities for the year. [applauds] And prices will come down substantially. Watch.”
