A man attempting to “run” from Florida to Bermuda has been stopped a second time from pursuing his goal.

Using a plastic bubble running device, Reza Baluchi was towed back to land Sunday by the Coast Guard, which said he violated an order not to embark.

Baluchi’s “HydroPod” bubble works like a hamster wheel and moves over the water as someone inside runs.

When Baluchi announced his plans, the Coast Guard advised him via letter not to do it "because your vessels and the conditions under which you are attempting to complete your voyage to Bermuda is unsafe."

Baluchi said he planned to eat fish and protein bars during the 1,663-kilometer journey. He reportedly planned to sleep in a hammock hanging inside the bubble. From Bermuda, he said he would continue to Puerto Rico, Haiti and Cuba.

According to Baluchi’s website, he planned to take five months to complete his journey, all the while raising "money for children in need and to inspire those that have lost hope for a better future.”

This was not the first time the Coast Guard ended Baluchi’s water run. In 2014, he was rescued after the Coast Guard received notice about a seemingly confused man in a bubble off Miami.
