Activist Quits NAACP Leadership Over Race Identity Scandal

The head of a U.S. advocacy group defending the rights of African Americans has resigned her position after her parents said that she is not black, as she has claimed. Rachel Dolezal was elected head of the NAACP chapter in Spokane, Washington about six months ago after years of posing as a black woman.
