When President Obama visited Standing Rock Native American Reservation earlier this year, he praised Sioux tribal leaders’ efforts to revitalize their Lakota language. Now the White House is preparing to host more than 500 tribal representatives for an annual conference on December 3. VOA correspondent Aru Pande has more from Standing Rock.
