An explosion during a training exercise has killed seven U.S. Marines and wounded seven others at a military ammunition storage facility in the western U.S. state of Nevada.
A military spokeswoman says the explosion occurred late Monday during a Marine training exercise at the Hawthorne Army Depot.
The Marines involved in the training are based at Camp LeJeune, in the eastern U.S. state of North Carolina, the cause of the explosion is under investigation.
