US, Afghan Forces Capture De Facto Capital of IS-Khorasan

U.S. and Afghan special forces have captured the de facto capital of the IS-Khorasan caliphate in eastern Nangarhar province. A U.S. special forces commander told VOA that Deh Bala district’s Papin and Guri Gur areas were cleared of Islamic State militants on July 8. Rahim Gul Sarwan reports.
