Venezuela has released a U.S. filmmaker who was jailed on espionage charges.
The Venezuelan government and sources close to 35-year-old Hollywood producer Timothy Tracy say he was flown back to the U.S. city of Miami.
Family and friends say Tracy was working on a documentary about Venezuela's political divisions and was arrested in April as he tried to leave the country.
Venezuelan officials allege Tracy was a spy whose aim was to destabilize the country. U.S. President Barack Obama called the allegation "ridiculous."
