NASA reports that six new published papers detail some of the findings made by the space agency’s Insight Mars Lander both above and deep below the Red Planet’s surface. The lander provided data that indicates Mars is more geologically active than thought and remnants of the Red Planet’s long-disappeared magnetic field can be found deep underground in the form of magnetized rocks.
