A Sudanese police unit is being accused of abductions, detentions and extra-judicial killings of civilians of Southern Kordofan State. The Satellite Sentinel Project says the Central Reserve Police, also known as Abu Tira, has fortified a police training center alongside the U.N. compound. Nathaniel Raymond, head of the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, which oversees the Satellite Sentinel Project, spoke to VOA English to Africa reporter Joe De Capua.
