NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine expressed concern for the safety of astronauts aboard the International Space Station and the potential for damage to the ISS from orbital debris created after India purposely destroyed one of its orbiting satellites with a missile. It’s said that India’s destruction of its own satellite was conducted to test the country’s anti-satellite weapon technology.
