Scientists in Chicago discovered the oldest solid material, ever found on Earth, trapped inside a meteorite that fell in Australia 50 years ago. The ancient material are actually microscopic fragments of stars that died billions of years ago. The scientists found the material ranges in age from 2.6 to 7 billion years old.
