For the second day in a row, Olympic gold medalist Apolo Anton Ohno of the United States has been disqualified from a World Cup short-track speed skating race in Seoul, South Korea.
Ohno was racing in the quarterfinals of the men's 500-meters race when he was cited for impeding an opponent and disqualified. On Friday, Ohno was disqualified from the 1500-meters race for shoving a Korean skater.
Chinese skaters dominated the ice Saturday with Li Haonan winning the men's 500-meters race in 42.583 seconds. Eric Bedard of Canada was second (42.675) with South Korea's Song Suk-woo third (42.705).
In the women's 500-meters race, China's Wang Meng took the gold medal (44.736 seconds) with compatriot Fu Tianyu second (44.762). Canada's Kalyna Roberge took the bronze medal (44.880).
