Britain's Justin Rose takes a four-stroke lead into Saturday's third round of the PGA Buick golf Championship in the eastern U.S. state of Connecticut.
Rose fired a 7-under-par, 63 in Friday's second round to take the midway lead at 12-under, 128. The 25-year-old Englishman is seeking his first Professional Golf Association title.
First round leader and former British Open champion Ben Curtis of the United States and countryman Kevin Sutherland share second place at 132, followed by Americans Dean Wilson and Chris Smith, who are tied another shot back at 7-under-par, 133.
World number one Tiger Woods of the United States and most other top-10 players are not competing in this event.
