Fighting continues Thursday in northeastern Syria, as Turkish forces push further into territory held by Kurdish-led forces, even as U.S. Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.VOA’s Heather Murdock is northeastern Syria and is the first Western journalist to enter the Al Hol camp this week. More than 70,000 women and children live in the camp - the families of IS fighters - who had fled the last territory held by the militants last year. Murdock has visited the camp before, but this time, she says, it was so dangerous that she and her crew needed to be escorted by security forces. Plus the latest on US forces in the area with COA Pentagon correspondent Carla Babb, news of a Brexit deal and more.
