A U.S. House of Representatives impeachment hearing quickly fell into partisan fighting as lawmakers formally received the investigative findings against President Donald Trump to lay out the case for the charges against him. However, Representative Doug Collins, the top Republican on the panel argued that Democrats are on a politically driven mission to remove Trump from office without direct evidence that he had committed impeachable offenses.
