Australian scientists have discovered a new species of the flying pterosaur. With a skull that measures about a meter in length, a spear-like mouth filled with forty teeth, and a wingspan of around seven meters, the researchers from the University of Queensland refer to the ancient beast as a ‘flying dragon’. The creature is said to have fed on fish from the large and now extinct Eromanga Inland Sea in Queensland’s outback region.
