NASA Tests Student-made Tools Underwater

As the U.S. space agency makes long-term plans for human journeys to an asteroid and to Mars, it has invited college students from around the country to design, build and test devices and tools that could be useful during those missions. Through the month of June, teams are working with NASA officials to test their creations in the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. VOA's Greg Flakus reports from the session.
