After months of refusing to wear a mask or ordering Americans to listen to health experts, U.S. President Donald Trump is now encouraging Americans to wear a mask.

Reviving his daily briefings Tuesday, Trump also departed from his usual rosy picture on the coronavirus pandemic outbreak saying it may get worse. But he also repeated a prior claim that the virus may just disappear. As cases continue to rise, anti-science messages and conflicting information from the president and his medical experts have added to confusion amid a massive national crisis.
