Afriforum, an Afrikaner-focused rights group in South Africa, has launched self-defense training for commercial, white farmers, after claims of a spike in the number of farm owners killed in violent attacks. The group says long-simmering tensions over white farmers owning most of South Africa’s business farms for more than a quarter-century since apartheid are driving some of these attacks. Franco Puglisi reports from Pretoria, South Africa.
