China's economy slowed to 7.3% in the third quarter, the weakest expansion in five years. Bloomberg News says this year's performance puts China on track for the slowest growth since 1990. Scott Kennedy, director of the Indiana University Research Center for Chinese Politics & Business, told V-O-A's Victor Beattie, while such growth is the envy of most countries, it amounts to a recession in China.
