Moscow Boasts One of World's Great Subways

Russian officials this week boasted about the efficiency of the Moscow Metro, claiming it is the world's top system by train traffic intensity. It is also one of the world's oldest, deepest, longest and most beautifully decorated subway systems. There are 200 stations in operation, many of which were built in the Stalin era. Recent modernization has added free Wi-Fi.
